There are no prizes for guessing that the famous tourist
attractions in this city are the Roman Baths. The ruins
of the shrine and the bathing complex built by the
Romans around these baths have been preserved with
extreme care and caution. The onlookers are left in an
awe when they see the hot water flowing out of the
springs.
Tourists are also offered various spa packages,
at a reasonable price, which utilize the water from
these hot springs for the spa treatments. An advantage
of the natural hot springs is that the Bath is also a
famous attraction even during the winter months of
England.
Holburne Museum of Art
As with other cities of England bath also has its own
famous museums. The Holburne Museum of Art, attracts art
lovers and tourist from all over the world, is home some
famous painting and silver articles. One can also find
articles made of porcelain and glass. Most of these
articles belong to Sir William Holburne, a resident of
Bath and spent years after retirement in this place.
Currently this museum is closed due to renovation but
will soon re-open in the later part of 2010.
Victoria Art Gallery
Another
famous museum, is the Victoria Art Gallery, which
showcases some of the best paintings of many prominent
artists from the 15th century till today.
Bath Aqua Theatre of
Glass
Another major
attraction for art lovers is the Bath Aqua Theatre of
Glass. The place is famous for its Hand made Glass which
being continuously produced by the artisans working
there.
Apart from usual historical visits, tourist can add some

along side adventure proves to be equally informative in
exploring the picturesque and the breathtakingly
